Advisory Board

An Advisory Board comprising 5-10 members shall be elected by the General Body, with a tenure of two years. The members nominated to the Advisory Board should have made commendable contributions in fisheries or allied sectors. Members of the Advisory Board provide intellectual support and advise the Executive Committee in decision making. They must observe, evaluate and supervise the activities of the Association.

The Advisory Board shall constitute panels for providing advice or recommendations to government/non-government organizations on any issue.

In the event of a crisis or conflict in the Executive Committee, the Advisory Board shall take action for their resolution. If the issue remains unresolved, the Advisory Board may dissolve the Executive Committee and take charge of the Association until a new Executive Committee is elected by the General Body.
